Here, we review some of the data from recent surveys to show how attitudes have changed in the region to reflect an acceleration of Cloud adoption, and a greater understanding of its potential benefits within this key global area.

Asia continues to grow at a faster rate than the West, driven particularly by China. Although this growth has moderated to some extent, business leaders still need to meet the needs of a growth cycle and take advantage of new technology. As we have demonstrated in the past, Cloud IT brings particular benefits to Asia due to characteristics of the local business environment, such as an abundance of smaller and newer companies that are eager to expand rapidly and take advantage of the latest technology, while avoiding expensive infrastructure.
